I’ve spent the last couple of days reading almost every single post on SI. Many of your stories are gut wrenching and heart breaking beyond words. I cried so much while reading your painful words and wondered how people can be so cruel to those whom they profess to love.
What you (both BS and WS) have endured and survived through is truly truly remarkable. Your strength, resolve, perseverance, and commitment to yourself are awe inspiring. It sheds light and hope in this dark world of betrayals. Thank you for sharing your stories and touching the lives of those on SI, especially the new members. I wish I can meet you all in person and thank you personally. I feel like I’ve developed a bond with all of you in ways I can’t explain.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Did you happen to read the "Positive Reconciliation Stories" thread that is pinned at the top of the "Reconciliation Forum" blink ???

People not only will survive infidelity...they can also THRIVE despite it grin ! I have been married twice...and cheated on twice. I went for D in my 1st M...and absolutely THRIVED from that grin ! Then I went for R in my 2nd M and I am living my Happily Ever After to the MAX grin !!!

My H and I have not told anyone else about his A...so this place has been a Godsend to me smile . I have made so many friends on here...and some have even become family grin !! We ALL have something to contribute on here...even though there are those of us who are happily in R that don't come on here as often as we should. I didn't understand that when I first came on here...but I get it now.

It feels weird to post happy posts when people are hurting sad . But when I was hurting the most is when I needed to see the happy posts the most. Also...positive threads don't get as many posts as negative ones...so they go off of the first page faster. That is why I love that there is the PRS thread at the top of the Reconciliation Forum smile . One day...if R is where your path goes...I will look forward to seeing YOUR post in that thread blink ! If not...I will look forward to seeing YOUR post in the "New Beginnings Forum"!! There is something for everyone on here grin !!!

Every once in a while you will see...in the "Fun & Games" Forum...something about a G2G. These are in person get-togethers for people on here to meet up smile . You may get your wish to meet some of these FABULOUS people one day grin !

Keep posting...keep healing...and keep moving forward grin !!

A "perfect marriage" is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

With God ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26)

I AM happy again...It CAN happen!!!

From respect comes great love...sassylee

Yes I read through almost the entire positive reconciliation forum! They gave me so much hope as I embarked on my journey of R.
And i had hoped I would be writing my story on it one day. But alas it doesn’t look like it…

There are those of us who are thriving post-divorce, too. My XWH couldn't do the work to be a safe partner, so we are D. Currently, I'm having a great time without any relationship. No more living with lies, no more being the marriage police, no more worry about his acting out, no more walking on eggshells. I only have to clean up after myself, can watch what I want on TV, have what I want for meals, and I have peace.

I had hoped that for myself as well, but…

this doesn’t sound so bad either smile

People are more important than the relationships they are in.

Ive read through a lot of the positive reconciliation stories, I'm so happy for those with a positive story, but I feel like my last three years of effort could be for nothing. I haven't given up yet, I still feel I can endure more pain in hopes of a brighter future, but it feels like every year of pain takes 5 years of life away from my ending. I have to know I've given it my all. Once I have, I'll know I can walk towards a new future.
