What did she 'win' exactly? I would say a cheating, lying hurtful man with no integrity and does not keep his commitments and promises. Good luck to her with her victory.
I am sure that is not what you thought you M but OW knows better. You probably never would have accepted the same low level man had you known it at thet time. I know that I would not have for a moment. But look how low her standards really are?
I slso know this same pain and grief. When you are the type of person that thought you knew your future and never would have chosen this path it is extremely hard to accept. I honestly have not accepted it on many days of the week, except Saturdays. I am good with it that day. No for real, that is what it feels like and everty long once in awhile my olds self comes back for a fleeting moment...just when I thought that woman was totally gone.
