The person who brought up this latest shooting to me up here said it must be a gun problem because we don't have as easy access to guns.
While I agree that since it's illegal to have any handguns here, it IS easy to get one.
I'm also not sure there's much of a difference in how our two nations responded to the pandemic. There is still a good show of me me me selfishness up here. I can't tell you how many times I heard someone say to lock up all the people who were at risk and let everyone else live their lives...
It's not one thing. It's many things.
I do think as much as we are connected virtually, there's also a huge disconnect for in person human connection.
