I haven’t done anything with my wedding band, but I just had the diamond from my engagement ring reset into a pendant necklace. I love it, and it’s a symbol to me of new beginnings. I have no emotional association or pain related to the diamond and where it originally came from.

And the jeweler suggested putting a different stone into the ring, so that I can wear it as a right hand ring. Don’t have the money for that right now, but I’m dreaming of a beautiful sapphire going into the setting someday!
