The odds are greatly against you being immensely smarter than everyone else in the field. If your analysis says your terminal velocity is twice the speed of light, the chances are better that you've screwed up than you've invented warp drive.

I’m back

XWW in 2007. Divorced. After several years, found what I thought was the true one. Together 15 years and yesterday got another bombshell. Two relationships in my life, both ending poorly. Been through this once before, so I know what to expect.

I think I am just done with people.

Mixed feelings

My 27 year old son lives with me. Has since he graduated college and got a job in the area. Best roommate I ever had.

He has a steady girlfriend. Nice girl, I really like her.

This past weekend I went out of town to attend an old friends daughter's wedding. When I came back, there was a brand new can of heavy whipping cream in the fridge....half gone. But, there are no other signs of any desserts anywhere...no pie plates, cake boxes, empty ice cream containers, etc.

Which brings me to my mixed feelings.....I don't know whether to be jealous, disgusted, or proud......

New Store!!

OK, as a red-blooded 'Merican Male, I am almost embarrassed to admit this. But I am excited. A Wegman's is opening less than one mile from my house!!!! Grand Opening is June 14th!!!!
