Crashed

A new reality of lies and disgust

Wedding Vows

My dday was long ago but even with time and counseling the reminders pop up without warning.
I no longer dwell on it but realize my husband owns this lock stock and barrel!
Anyway my husband’s memory is slipping as he grows older. Yesterday he said jokingly
You will take care of me when I can’t remember anything
No I won’t
Then he said but remember you promised the priest
In sickness and in health
I immediately looked at him and said I remember you promised the priest to honor me forsaking all others
He looked down
He was speechless

Did you ever really find out Why?

Even after so many years past DDay my husband still can’t verbalize why he cheated?
It had nothing to do with me but some emptiness inside of him.
It began on the computer and spiraled out of control
A fantasy world where he was powerful and sort out
Totally pathetic but somehow this quiet intelligent middle aged man lost his mind and was totally addicted
Our lives hurled into chaos and heartbreaking reality that the once safe world was destroyed
Rebuild and survive
Now years later ironically he is slowly loosing his memory
