I have kicked the Covert Narcissist to the curb
I haven’t been on here for MONTHS! So much has happened. But I am happy to say that after struggling for the last three years knowing that I have been in a 10 year relationship with a Covert Narcissist, I have kicked him out. I have struggled from day 1 in this relationship, including his cheating on me for the first 16 months of what thought as a monogamous relationship. Have questioned my sanity, and I got to the point of being emotionally and physically exhausted. My Doctor has known for the last 2 1/2 years and has helped to support me while I finally got the gumption to end this nightmare. If any others here have been or are questioning why they feel off balance all the time you could be dealing with this very abusive covert person. The abuse is real folks. And you don’t even know it’s happening. Lies, gas lighting, moodiness, sullen, cold eyes, jealousy over spending time on others rather than focusing 24 hours a day on them, absolutely no empathy for others, entitlement, rules aren’t meant for them, poor treatment of service staff/waiters etc ( unless they are good looking women), poor decisions blamed on everything/everyone other than themselves. I just heard something very powerful the other day - when the devil can’t get to you they send a covert narcissist in their place…… hurting over a relationship that was only ever in my mind, but very thankful to be free of it.

Iphone and Ipad Contacts
I discovered today that Contact information doesn't always load to both the phone and Ipad. I was checking number that my WH had called and spent 24 minutes talking to a while back. I looked on his Ipad to see if the number was in his contacts - nothing. Don't know why but today I thought I would check it on the Iphone and there it was! And not in under a contact that I would associate it with.......... so all you peeps with Iphones and Ipads make sure that in the settings on the Ipad under Icloud it is clicked to sinc the Ipad contacts with the Iphone .

Pinterest messages
I have a Pinterest app. So does my WH. Tonight he was showing me a picture of something and at the bottom of the screen I see a red dot beside the speech icon. Does that mean someone has messaged him ? I don’t use Pinterest Very much and do not use the messaging feature .....spidey senses are on fire tonight. Any help with is is appreciated

Clearing Settings every visit
I enjoy a professional career which has me on my phone a lot. Texting, e mails etc to connect with my clients. It never occurs to me on either my phone or my Ipad,( which I watch Netfix on and surf Facebook and Instagram) to go into my Settings on either device. When doing a bit of checking here and there on my WH's phone and IPad I see that almost EVERY day he is showing that he has been in the Settings on both devices. He isn't maybe one of the most literate people on the planet as far as computer/phone savvy but this has me really wondering why there is this need to go into his settings so often?????

History of calls in the car
Going into the History in my WH car yesterday I only found one phone number, so he is deleting his history. I had an epiphany I think. If one was foolish enough to link up a burner (2nd phone) to the car it should also keep that History until its deleted. So I will be on occasion going in and taking pictures of the calls and matching them up to the phone bill. Any that don't appear on the bill would lead me to think that another phone was used for calls that don't show up on the bill??? Thoughts peeps???

About Pinterest
Anyone else have a WS that has a Pinterest account? When my WS is on it there are pings that come thru, that I don't think he knows that I can hear. I don't use it enough to know my way around it. I know that it has a message feature and that you need to be following someone and vice versa to send and receive messages. Help is always appreciated

I Pads etc
My WH has a new I Pad which he has set up. I know that he gets messages on it because they pop up on the screen from time to time. He's not very techy and usually has used a smart pad. Because he doesn't think he will use it much he has offered it to me. Anything I can look into on there if he has it all set up to link up with his I phone?

Emoji's and Images
I have noted on my WH phone the most recent Emoji's that he has used occasionally when texting haven't been sent to me and it seems that he has sent one or three or four that are questionable. I'm continuing to monitor this and as well have started to check when I send the moving images ( the red button ) on the text bar to see if the most recent ones that I have sent come up first and yes the last three images I sent are at the top. Next exercise will be to check my WH images and see what has been recently sent. Posting this as I think that it is a good idea not to erase any of our WS texts so that we can look back and cross reference these. Any thoughts????

Pinterest question
I have found a HUGE amount of time spent on Pinterest on my WH phone ( battery usage/activity)I know that my WH is fond of watching food videos. But am a little edgy as that battery time on his phone is well over anything else, not only on the 24 hour battery activity but the 10 day activity as well. He does a lot of texting, phoning and Safari searching as he works for himself and this activity lately has surprised me because its a really excessive amount. So my question, can you text, chat with people on Pinterest? I have gone on it very little so don't know all of the ins and outs of it.

Switching numbers under contacts
I haven't done much investigating but every now and then on a weekend or evening my WH gets a call from a trades person that is working for him. It seems to be a current trade that I would know of because of the jobs that he is currently working on. I'm wondering if someone that he shouldn't be hearing from is calling and that possibly he goes into his contacts and adds that number to a new current contact to avoid me getting suspicious. Now there are times when these calls are legit, I can hear the guy talking. But my SO turns off his ringer in the evening and weekends saying he doesn't want to be bothered by calls..........Saturday night one of those calls came in while we were in the car and the ringer was off, but I heard the vibration, told him he had a call and he looks at the caller and says how he hates it when they call after hours/weekends etc. He didn't answer it. I know a lot of us here have found that our SO are hiding numbers under different contacts and I plan to check this one as soon as I can. I'm posting this to ask anyone about issues they have had with their SO hiding numbers. There was at one point last year that I caught a very short conversation at home on a VAR that had him saying "don't text me my phone is...." and that's all it recorded. Why would he be telling someone, anyone, not to text him???? So I'm thinking that he may only get calls and he doesn't have to answer them and could check a voice mail later............

Web Watcher questions
I'm pretty sure that anything logged on Web Watcher shows up except I'm not sure if the Incognito mode is used does that show up on the Web Watcher report? And if it doesn't wouldn't the key strokes logger at least capture the keystrokes when the user is in that mode?

Planes Trains and Automobiles
In the first week of this month I looked at WH Iphone where you hit the home button twice to show you the apps still open in the background. There was a flight tracker page still open with an incomimg flight to our city that would land at 9:30 pm that night ( a Thursday ). Closed it and was left to wonder a bit, let it go. This morning checked the Battery Status page and when I flipped to the Show activity for the last 24 hours all looked ok, switched to the last 10 days (I think - I had to act fast ) and there was 25 minutes of screen time for a Planes app. So scrolled thru the apps pages on the phone and there it was, the last app on the last page. Odd as we aren't traveling anywhere and to the best of my knowledge my WH is not receiving any cargo or packages to him/us thats arriving by plane. That app hasn't been there for very long I don't think but is causing me to go into investigate mode again.....because who sits on a plane tracking app for 25 minutes??? any thoughts???

What is this ????
When I open the Safari Web Data on my WH cell phone the most website data (11.3 MB) is being used by yimg.com and when I put that into my browser nothing comes up. I think it has something to do with Yahoo but lower down on the list is Yahoo.com with 3.7 MB of data. Any help peeps?????

Blocked Caller List
When you check the blocked caller list on an IPhone under the Settings-Phone-Call Blocking & Identification and it shows you the blocked numbers - I have more or less figured out that you have to scroll to the bottom to see the most recent blocked caller - it's not the one at the top that is the most recent. My question is - if you unblock a caller should you be able to figure that out if other numbers take that last called spot? Thinking that checking this a couple days in a row might unearth the fact that a WS may be blocking and unblocking a number in order to make contact when not with a BS. Thoughts?

Finding facebook data on safari
On an iphone if I go to settings and go to Safari and then to Advanced and to Website data it will show the website data used on the iphone. I know that it probably doesn't show anything when the user is on WiFi but if they use data to go on websites in Safari how much data would let you know that it was an actual website visited instead of the small MB and KB's used by the cookies that are tracking in the background? I am specifically concerned because I have seen a fairly large MB use some days for Facebook, and my WH doesn't have Facebook since we deleted it........

Text showed up on Bell bill
My WH and I both have Bell accounts. So, whenever he calls me it's logs on his Bell bill, the call. The texts never show up because of I think that Bell to Bell thing that they have ( I hate that because I know I am missing a lot of the texts that he sends to other Bell users ) so those don't show up. This morning I am checking his usage and it shows that he sent me a text and I can see the text on my phone. So why would this text show up on the bill and not the hundreds of others that he has sent me in the past????

Candy Crush Soda
This isn't an app on my WH phone but every now and then his phone is using huge amounts of data. So I think he might be going thru Safari to play it. As well it looks like on the dns server on his laptop that the Candy Crush Soda site is visited. Anyone play that game on their laptop/computer that can tell me of there is a chat available on it?

Sites visited and Ipconfig
When running ipconfig a certain website visited keeps showing up on the log. I flush the DNS and when I check the log again the same website address shows up. When I put that actual address in a search it says website error. Any techies out there that can help? It's a game app address that shows up on a laptop pc.

Facebook Robot log in???
I happened to walk but my WH the other day while he was on his phone searching for something. I could have sworn that he was on a Facebook entry page of some sort and it was asking for him to type in one of those word codes to let the program know that he wasn't a robot. Anyone seen that on Facebook? By the way he doesn't have a Facebook account any longer. At least not one that I know about.

Disapearing Emoji's.......
Last night my Wh and I were in two separate places. I texted him and we went back and forth a few times. He has an Iphone 5. I get two texts from him one right after the other. They are both black screens, one with a pink solid heart and the next one with a ringed striped heart, and they seem to move ( like some do now) Right away he texts me and says "Geez" then another text saying "Malfunction" Then says "put your phone away and enjoy yourself!!!" I didn't think anything of it and went on with my evening and didn't look at my texts again til this morning. I have saved all of the texts from him since well before June 20th so have all of our text convos still on that one thread. When I looked at the texts from last night the two black texts with hearts are missing from my text string!!! How in the heck does that happen? I'm no expert but I don't think even on my NEW Iphone 7 Plus, that I have disappearing texts..... how do they just disappear from my text/phone??????Help please.I'm thinking he has some kind of emoji app or separate app that does this? And a second question, if they are using hidden apps do they show up in the Purchased section of the App store?

Battery Usage on IPhone
I have noticed that when I check the battery usage for the last 24 hours that Safari is the number one App that comes up - sometimes up to 64% for the day. More than the Phone or Messages App. My WH is a very busy guy during the day on his phone constantly and texting to a certain extent too, for business. My spidey senses are telling me that that much Safari usage with VERY little web site data showing up to say what web sites have been visited is proof that he is probably using the Private browsing mode and that he is using it a lot! Any thoughts out there ????
We have never discussed In Private browsing and I don't want to bring it up now because it may raise a flag and I have opened his phone to find that black rimmed in private screen open. Any super sleuths out there with any ideas???

Private browsing on Safari on iPhone
I don't ever use private browsing so know nothing on that score. On an iPhone I believe there's a private browsing feature. How do I find it to use it and is there a way that if I go into my WH phone and on to Safari can I go in to private browsing and will it autiofill preemptive text anything ? For example if I went in and typed in tin would it complete the word Tinder?? Hope that makes sense.

Game Centre on Apple IPhone
Any one out there that is familiar with the Game Centre on an IPhone? When I go in WH Phone and check the Settings and go in to the Game Centre there is a user name there. I don't have a user name showing when I go into that on my phone because I don't use the game centre. Just the fact that there is a user name there is making my spidey senses act up. Is there a way to search for that user name in that Game Centre? Any help is appreciated.

Found an e mail address in a spam e mail
So I opened an e mail that went straight through his spam folder. One of those pharmacy sites. I'm used to seeing in the To: section his e mail address and 8 more.... and when I explode that line his e mail address is there. There is another e mail with just one address in the To: and its similar time his bit not the one I'm used to seeing. As well it's the only address,not showing more when I open that line. Never seen this address before. Help!!!

Private chat rooms on games
Is there a way to quickly find out if there is a private chat room loaded on an Apple game app? What I mean is I see a game app that isn't presently loaded on my WH phone but it's there in the cloud as an App that can be downloaded. I googled it and yes it's got a private chat room feature. I want to load it from the cloud when I get a chance to get near his phone alone and will need to quickly look around it. If you need the app name please PM me.

Facebook gigabytes used
I think It's may be on to something. When checking the Safari web site data in general settings I have noticed that at times there is over 14 gb used. I'm hoping that's what I saw. Anyway, I went on to Facebook on my own phone when I wasn't using Wifi. Searched. Posted. Looked at the newsfeed. It only showed up as minimal (less than a kilobite) of data being used. So my discovery I think is that he may be using Facebook as a messaging thing. I have used Facebook eveyway I can accept MESSENGER and I can't get anywhere near the website data amount that shows up on his phone. He has repeatedly said he doesn't have a Facebook account any more but why, when I check the website data on Safari, does it come up with the website as m.facebook.com and why such a huge amount of data?.... ok all you techy's help is needed.

Blank page when clearing Apps
This is for IPhone 5 and 6 users. I have noticed a few times when I have double clicked the home button on my WH phone to see what apps were still open (or operating in the background?) I can see the apps that are open with no problem but there is on occasion a blank page showing and when I click on it nothing opens. Can anyone explain that to me?

Google e mail account what can I find?
There was an e mail account my WH set up for us to get a stream of pictures that a friend took of an event. After we saw the pictures I never accessed the e mail account again. This was done quite a long time ago. I think I can still get the password. I'm not Google account savvy at all. What can I access/get from Google with that e mail account and password ?

Hi all, on a phone record for this last Monday I see at 4:46 a.m. 50.4745 megabites of data being accessed on WH iPhone. Do you have to open and search something for this to happen? Anyone know what this could be? I don't think my phone ever randomly goes out and looks up a website........

Finding apps on Iphone
I know that when you go into the App Store app on the IPhone and click on the "Purchased " tab it brings up all of the apps you have bought or downloaded to your Apple devices etc. Just wanting to know if we are seeing ALL of them. I hear so often on here about hidden apps that our partners load and delete as they need to. Do these also show up on that list that we can see?

Odd website found in website history
Happened to pick up WH phone last night. Checked the website history, really didn't expect to find anything because he deletes the history regularly. Found 4 or 5 common ones, Yahoo, shopping sites etc but at the bottom of the list this came up "5network5.com". I clicked on it and some website inviting you to meet women. It looked like an ad site but at the bottom it gave the two windows for a username and password. Also asked if you were joining or leaving the site. Then right underneath had the word Ubsubscribe. Not happy about finding this but due to the dating meetup sites that my WH used to be on I know he gets emails etc from time to time that go into his spam. I know a lot if sites have spin off sites that send these e mails. But this wasn't an e mail, it was a site that came up in his history. Any help ?

Google account
I have no idea how this new google account thing works accept that I have heard that every time you log in to it it sends an e mail alert ? Any help on what you can get from signing in Into a Google account will be appreciated :) I know the g mail address and password and just discovered that my WH has added his regular yahoo email address to the account. I have to move quickly. I have his Apple ID and password and want to get something working on his phone before he changes his password. Does anyone know if either of these programs send an e mail or phone alert to the target phone when you put these programs in use? Flexispy vs Mspy
Did a lot of reading on this program today - good reviews etc - also read up on MSPy as you can load it without a jailbreak of the phone, Any comments on one or the other???? I think I have found a key on WH key ring that may be a PO box key. It has a five digit number on it. Anyone have any idea on if it is a Post office box key how I find out where the postal outlet is that houses that box? Same e mail address two names
I'm confused about this. When I look in my WH sent folder some of the e mails he has sent himself show the sender as Xxxxxxxx@Xxx.com. Then some say they are from his name
Xxxxxx xxxxxxxx. How does this happen? Same email account but senders show these two different sender names for him?

I have backed up my WH I phone and run Dr Fone on it. It pulled up everything that it was able to. My question is if I go in to my I tunes what else can I get from that back up? Can I look at the back up some how? Are there other programs that could get anything else?

Gaming thru Facebook
i don't play a lot of games in my iPhone or iPad. The 2 that I have ask if I want to play with friends on Facebook. I have always said no. I'm pretty sure my WH doesn't have a hidden FB account but through some investigating I am finding some phone numbers in his deleted calls etc that don't show up in his contacts. So I of course 411 and Google and Facebook the phone numbers. A few of them on Facebook that have showed up show many posts of games the people are playing. This really peaked my curiosity because funnily enough quite a few months ago out of the blue my WH Asked me if I played slot games. One of the Facebook people had PAGES of posts playing.....you guessed it,....MyFreeVegasSlots ! So anyone out there know about how people engage each other thru these games? I'm thinking that he has actually called at least three women in the last year that I can't come up with a good reason for him calling(out of the our immediate living area etc) and need more info on this .

all you techies out there if you can help would be great. Any way on my WH LAP Top that I can have it remember passwords? Or keystrokes? I think what I'm asking is for the computer to auto finish a word. This would really help with things like this and I don't know how to do that in the lap top settings. Any help always appreciated.

Safari browser web history
This as an awesome way to check the past viewing web history on the iPhone. Go to Settings, Safari,Advanced,then Web data. I found every site that the phone has pulled up since he got his phone. Deleting the history on the Safari site doesn't wipe this info out - you have to go to the above directions so many people don't know the info is still there.One important question, when you use Safari, does it pop up other sites? or re direct to you sites that you didn't surf? Im asking beacause I am not happy with some of the sites I have seen listed in his Web Data...........

Im going to take a new tactic. The times of texts coming and going doesn't make sense so I want to video tape activity around his phone after we go to sleep. Can anyone recommend a fairly inexpensive and accurate covert video camera that will work in low light? I have looked at a few pen style ones on the web. Also wondering if when they activate if any kind of light goes off to give it away

Anyone question the phone records?
I have been doing some pretty accurate logging of time, events etc for the last 30 days. There is one timeline of texting back and forth on the bill but I can honestly say that it totally stumps me. Enough said that at the time that he shows as sending two texts it would have been pretty impossible. I have even gone so far as to ask the phone company if the times that are posted on the bill are local time. Note to people checking, my cell provider said that it reports the calls and texts in the local time of where the phone actually is - so if you are out of province/time zone etc it reports where you are, not where you live and get your bills.

Missing texts on phone bill
I have managed to print out the last years worth of Bell cell phone bills. Because of privacy laws now I can only see the number my WH has dialed out - not one that has called him, only the city the number has originated from. As well on the Bell phone bill there seems to be periods of time that there are no messsages showing sent or received when I know that he has sent or received text messages. Any other Bell users out there with some insight? There is even a four day span where there no texts recorded at all, and I know the phone was in use because there are phone calls placed and answered for those days. Also - is it possible to put two phones on the same phone number? Sorry lots of questions here today. In looking at these phone records I am yet disturbed again as it appears that he has been texting late at night ( between 10:00 and midnight) when we have either been sleeping or out somewhere and I had no idea he was texting - and who more importantly would he be texting that late at night!!!!!

Read those e mails in the sent folder
Found a lot of interesting things by going in to my WH sent folder - more important are the ones that have not been opened. This is where you will find e mails that they may have either never opened or just sent them to themselves from another device. They may have not ever saved the email to a folder but if they sent it to themselves quite often it brings up the whole string of sends and responses. As well if they do keep them in seperate file folders you will also see ones there that have not been opened. Would love to hear from anyone that gets more info this way.

Origin of an e mail
Or maybe just how did it get there. My WH has a Yahoo mail account where he has different folders to store e mails. One folder is called Notes. In there I found an e mail from himself to an undisclosed recipient - what is that.? Wondering because the content of the e mail is one word that looks an awful lot like a password to some thing. Any help as always is appreciated. He does sometimes send himself e mails of texts etc that he wants to keep so I know this isn't unusual activity just the undisclosed receipient throws me and of course.....that the word in the content looks suspicious.... Damn does this sleuthing ever go away ?!

User name look up
I found an e mail in WH spam folder from tripadvisor where they addressed the e mail to "xxxxx2" a user name that he used for that account. Any good search engines or programs that can see if that user name has been used on other sites?

Yahoo Message Archive Decoder
I have used this program and it decodes so that you can read saved Yahoo chat messages in the Yahoo program file folder. the website that I got it from was www.intellectualheaven.com and the title of this topic is the name of the program. It opens the chats line by line and you can read everything. Hope this helps someone out there.

Getting history from iCloud
I have been reading posts here that are telling members that you can get the history of all the texts from the i cloud back up for an I phone. Can anyone tell me how to do that ? I could try it on my own phone first to try it out but don't know how or what to do. I don't even know how to access my own I cloud! Needless to say that Apple is not my first language. Any help would be great

Refusal to link his iPhone to the car
this came as an ah ha moment to me in our MC. for the first 2 years (16 months of his EA's and other life) my WS refused to link up his cell phone to the blue tooth phone option in his car. I repeatedly asked him why he wouldn't do it and he would always use his hearing as an excuse . To me, since he has a bit of hearing loss, this feature would have been a benefit to him. I only realized in our MC. and he more or less said that yes that was probably part of the reason he didn't link up his phone was because he would have gotten calls from his EA's while I was in the car. Any others out there who this happened to ? Or any if you wondering why your spouse refuses? This should have been a huge red flag for me. Maybe will help others.......and yes his phone is now linked and he says he likes the feature , and never worries about getting calls as that double life is over.

Who sent who the e mail
Because of all the ways e mails can be sent and replied to Im having trouble decifering whether my SO sent someone an itnitial e mail 3 months ago and she is responding to him months later or she sent it to him 3 months ago and he responded to her. I guess I could copy the e mail here and get some suggestions? Of course I would xxxx out the e mail addresses. Could any of you help me with that? This one is really confusing me.

Forwarding e mails to another address
My SO has Yahoo mail and there is an option in there to forward e mails. If I go in and do that does Yahoo send a text or e mail to his account or phone telling him that e mails are now being forwarded to another address?????

Fake face book page
Hi,how can I find out if my WH has a fake face book page? I know that when I used Spokeo to look up what I think was an old e mail account it showed up as being used on two possible profiles - one a company that he had page long ago for and one showing a profile without a picture. Any suggestions?

Microsoft account and e mail
Help please, if you open a microsoft account say when you get a new computer, does Microsoft let you use a Yahoo.com e mail tag or do they make you use a hotmail.com, live.ca, or outlook.ca ending? And then let you use your e mail at Yahoo.com as a contact e mail to contact you? Back in April 2014 I found an e mail from Microsoft asking if his xxxxxx@ yahoo.com e mail was his valid e mail/ contact and I'm now confused. I discovered a hotmail.com account that iI didn't know he had by going to the mail sign on and kept putting in random hotmail, live, outlook endings. Cool, as if the e mail isn't valid it will give you an error message and if it is they give you the option of resetting your password by giving them your ending phone number or the e mail address they have on file to reach you, so I consequently found a Hotmail account that I didn't know he had. Now to get his phone and computer together so that I can open that hotmail account and reset the password !

New lap top. Best key logger?
my WH has purchased a new lap top. A Lenovo brand. It's one of the new ones that you can either use the keyboard and mouse or touch the screen. I am still using an old Dell laptop so am really out in left field about these new ones. I have used an E Blaster key logger on his old lap top and it really slowed it down especially when he was typing e mails and documents etc. to the point that that was why he got this new one. Any suggestions for a key logger for these newer models ? As well he has taken his laptop to his work place and I would like to have him bring it home so I can have access to it but don't know how to go about asking him to do that. I thought that I would surprise him at work some afternoon and ask to take it home? Not exactly sure how that would go over!!

Msn messenger and Yahoo chat
I don't chat and don't use either of these chat ways of communicating, never have. My question, can you use one ID for both? Meaning if you have an ID on Yahoo can you use it to chat with someone on MSN? I am asking because two of my WH EA partners seemed to stay in touch on the Messenger MSN chat. I have logs from Yahoo from his computer that show other chats. I have a feeling they were not these two people but others ? That would crush me as I have asked for total disclosure but could also use it to finally get him to stop only admitting to what I found and fessing up to maybe others. Any help would be appreciated.

Checking his work laptop
We are in R and doing okay. My WH is going to be changing jobs in the next week or so. I know he did delete his MSN convo's on it after DDay as I saw the empty "My Received Files" folder on his work laptop when he had it at home. My question is, if I can ask him to let me see it as an act of transparency, before he hands it in, what should I look for and or copy to check?

Backing up his I phone to my I tunes ?
I don't know if SO has ever backed up his i phone. Can I back it up to my I tunes without changing or syncing anything of mine to his phone? Will it reveal anything ? I do have Dr Phone and would love to see what I could find. Any and all help would be appreciated as it is a work phone of his and he may be changing jobs here in the next week and will be handling back that phone .......
