Whiskey, Words, and a Shovel
I just ordered this book because after reading a few samples of the content I was hooked. It's like positive poetry. So much of it seems to directly relate to the pain of betrayal.

Room
I had never heard of this book until I saw that the movie had an Oscar nomination.
I'm not even done reading it yet and already I am in awe. This book is intense! And it makes me want to hug my toddler and never let her go.
I highly recommend it, but just as an FYI it's written from the perspective of a 5 year old which I find interesting but saw reviews where others found it difficult to follow at times.
