Any idea what kind of device that is?

Dr. Fone questions
I’ve been going back and forth on spyware for WH’s phone but there are so many warnings out there I haven’t. Considering Dr. Fone for recovery purposes. When the data is recovered, do all of the old messages and anything that was recovered go back on the phone? Or does it stay separate from the phone and you can just look through it on your computer? I certainly don’t want a bunch of deleted stuff to appear back on his phone. Also, if it does stay separate, can it be saved and perused later or does the phone have to still be plugged into the computer? I guess mostly what I’m asking is can I do this in under an hour without anything tipping off WH?
