Happy as a clam at the beach! There is an all inclusive resort about 2 miles from the house that you can purchase a 'day pass' and use their facilities and equipment. Plus breakfast/lunch/dinner included. As well as the open bar on the beach and at the pool :-)
And we flirted with the bartender until we made him blush 
So - here's to the beginning of a great vacation!

May 29 2021 ***reclaimed myself and decided to delete my story with my ex because I'm now 7 years free from him and mentally healthier than I've been in years.

We are have such a good time! We are going to fly to Hawaii tomorrow and spend the rest of the week at the North Shore.
Sadly this is NOT going to be fun. My late husband was a surfer. And he wanted his ashes spread in the ocean at the North Shore. At his memorial we spread half of them at another beach on the Gulf of Mexico where we went on our honeymoon. That is done.
Then Covid hit and everything else has been on hold. But, finally, I can 100% lay him at rest. All I have left is a small portion I had put in a locket necklace (I learned that cremation jewelry is actually a thing) with a picture of him and one of us at our wedding. It is really pretty - I had the diamonds from my engagement and wedding rings mounted in it.
But then? We are going to just enjoy Hawaii. She has never been here and I want to show her around
