Recently found out that WW is getting a divorce. Have not heard from her since divorce in 2016 when she coldly looked me in the eye, as she received assets that she had no input in creating, and told me "it's business". Received a letter about a month ago that I did not open and returned to her unopened. Son in law said she was trying to get help from me over something. Not going to happen. "Its business".

I applaud posters who are able to recognize manipulation and self interest and say a firm "not today" (the rest of the saying is probably not permitted in this forum so let鈥檚 substitute the word "selfish one")
It is not being petty in my case to never willingly speak to or otherwise communicate with exh or to never plan to willingly be within 100 miles of him. It is simply my appropriate acknowledgement that he is very dangerous to me.
I do appreciate a good logical consequences story.
"It's a slow fade...when you give yourself away" so don't do it!
