I was having an issue with a road sign placement and got a (nasty) response from the Director of Pubic Works. I do hope it was a template and went out on all her correspondence. Or maybe she was a failed gynecologist.

I dint have anything off top of mind at the moment but I read medical charts all day and some are typos and some are poor dictation but we get some doozies.

I was working on presentation for the government (Federal-level). It was suppose to say something along the lines of:
......this shift resulted in the deficient of funds......
The presentation I submitted said:
.....this shit resulted in the deficient of funds......
It was my first real job and I was so young; I just wanted to die.
Now in my wise years of age; I realize I just spoke the truth.

One of my part time jobs in undergrad was doing classified ads for the large state newspaper. I was promoted to spell checker after a few weeks because for fun (I was bored) I'd find typos. One I'll never forget was an obituary for a well-known family member and it read: She is survived by one daughter and five SINS. One of her five 'sins' didn't like that at all and they got a full refund for the large obit which was quite expensive.
