I am thankful for my child. They’ve come such a long way in a rather short period of time. In fact, my child just completed a very long and exhausting task with flying colors. So very very proud!

Woohoo...one of my favorite things about Thursday is writing something I am THANKFUL for on here !!

TODAY I am thankful for kicking this sinus infection to the curb!!! Although...that danged prednisone keeps me all cranked up!!! But I get to come on here EARLY and read and post before I start my day .

I am also thankful that this far out in A season...I am able to look back more logically than emotionally. I was able to find out 2 KEY pieces to the A puzzle that were right in front of my eyes all along...only my sight was clouded by the emotional turmoil before. The picture got MUCH more clear...and made me even more HAPPY . Thank You God for giving me this clarity!!!

My H's career took a new turn this week for the BETTER! I am so THANKFUL that he has become a man of God who can be a GIVING supervisor and helps others now to achieve their goals as well . With God ALL things are possible...and He works ALL things together for the GOOD of those who love HIM !

A "perfect marriage" is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

With God ALL things are possible (Matthew 19:26)

I AM happy again...It CAN happen!!!

Another Thursday...and another day to be THANKFUL .

Today I am thankful that there were TWO new POSITIVE posts written in the "Positive Reconciliation Stories" thread in the Reconciliation Forum this week . Who knows...maybe TODAY there will be another one posted...I can only HOPE !!! Three positive posts on three consecutive days...that would probably be a record!!!

Yesterday was a difficult day for a family member of ours...and my H really showed his CARING side to them . This was something that would not have happened had he not done the work on himself...and I am so proud of all that he has done to better himself and become a man of God .

A "perfect marriage" is just two imperfect people who refuse to give up on each other.

I’m thankful to be in “A” season.

If healing in R requires time and a remorseful spouse then I say bring it on. My W is doing the work and is available for me during the tough the triggers. So I have half of what I need. The other half is time, I welcome it. Bring it on!!

Today I got excited about work. I haven’t had much enthusiasm for my job in quite some time. Covid, boredom etc have really put a damper on things.

Well today I decided to tackle a project that I’ve wanted to do for quite some time. It required a lot of work but it’s in an area that I actually love. I got my groove on and got about half way through it. In the end once everything is working correctly, it will save me a lot of work.

So I am very thankful for the above.

THIS is my first Thursday after my 7th A season...and I am very thankful for that .

I was able to witness my H show that between me and ANY other woman...I come FIRST . His work colleague was none the wiser...everything was very professional...but I KNEW why my H did what he did with his interaction with her...and it made me SMILE !! Something like this would have never happened before...and in fact...it actually DIDN'T happen. But yesterday...without missing a beat...my H made a subtle difference that ROCKED my world...and I've been smiling ever since !!! I am so THANKFUL for the husband he has become !!!

I am thankful this Thursday for some good news. Our sweet boy has had so many medical issues in his life and we are facing another one. He has severe sleep apnea. The Dr was leaning towards cystic fibrosis but so far all his tests are negative.

Since I won't be able to get on tomorrow...I decided to do a Thankful Thursday post TODAY .

I am so THANKFUL that two couples who are friends of mine that got Covid last week...are feeling MUCH better THIS week !! All four of them got the monoclonal antibody infusion...and in ONE day it made them feel so much BETTER . Even with the Delta variant...this therapeutic treatment WORKS!!!

There are other therapeutic treatments as well...but the BEST protection is the vaccine . If you don't have the vaccine though...there are other options besides staying home and waiting it out . We can BEAT this virus !!!

I had been thinking all morning that today was Wednesday...so I am very HAPPY to realize it is THANKFUL THURSDAY !!!

I am so thankful that my loved ones who have recently been under the weather are coming through just fine .

I am also thankful to have the wonderful husband I do who is showing me EVERY DAY that I will get my fairytale marriage I always dreamed of...with my Happily Ever After . ALL fairytales have some traumatic event in them...that is why the story ends with..."And they lived happily ever AFTER". OUR M had the trauma of an A...but OUR story didn't end there .

I KNOW that our M wouldn't have been this GOOD until we dealt with the BAD...which was NOT the A. The A was a symptom of my H's brokenness from past events in his childhood. He wasn't willing to deal with it until his bad choices ended up hurting the person he loved most in this world.

Living with him for so long...I accepted his selfish choices...until they crossed a line that was unacceptable to me. We thought we had a good M because it was all we knew at the time. We thought wrong.

Thank God we found our way back to God...and to each other !

I am thankful that I was able to visit my best friend a few weeks ago for the first time since Covid. I am thankful that she is in excellent health and looks strong and energetic. She is over 4 years out from a diagnosis of pancreatic cancer and totally cancer free.

We were discussing healthcare at dinner, and she recalled an early interaction with her doctor. She said the care he gave was great, but he had no personality. At one point she told him she expected to fully recover. He replied, "Well, you have about a 90% chance of dying."

Survived the Antiversary. Three years ago this week my wedding vows died (but due to disclosure gap it’s only the second time I faxed it). We were on vacation and although he didn’t handle my stress about it perfectly (“come on, we are together, this is a new memory, why go there?…” ), it was a winner of a day overall and in fact full of nice new memories. For that I am thankful!! And the week before that he hit a home run with my birthday. Thankful! Lots to be thankful for, even if the sadness lingers.

So much! It's in the high 90's out but we've got A/C and it's working. The housing market is insane, but we've got the only decent, affordable rental in town. There's still a pandemic on, but both my wife and I work from home anyway. We live in a town where everything is so close that we just walk to the things we need, and so only need one car. Our autistic son seems to have found a girlfriend. Our older daughter just got her dream job. Our youngest is in a great college. There a great many things in the world that steal our joy and test our resolve, but at the end of the day, the people we know and love are healthy, safe, have the things they need to survive and thrive.
