I've never been in a fight either. Ever. I joke that getting in a bar fight is on my bucket list.

My derby friends still call me that. It's funny to see civilians cock their head to the side when middle-aged women are, completely unironically, calling each other names like "Pistol" or "Juice Box" or "Vicious".

Don't get in a bar fight. Especially if it's not one you know you can win or if you are unsure if the guy has backup or not. Wildly bad risk reward ratios. Only been in a couple scrapes myself and always came out smelling like roses, so there's that.
Sometimes better to be lucky than good.

I’ve spent something like 25 years doing martial arts training, shaping myself into this Clark Kent like figure, and my wife goes and has an affair with a woman.
No bar fights.
No heroics or revenge.
The glasses stay on.
I think both Beyoncé and Dolly are brave in their lyrics, in quite different ways. Dolly’s sounds a bit meek and pleading, but just imagine how hard it would be to actually have that conversation with a person who was flippantly working to take you down.
If you are honest and sincere people may deceive you. Be honest and sincere anyway.
What you spend years creating, others could destroy overnight. Create anyway.
