13 years ago today I found out that WH, my husband of 21 years (at that time) and father of our 4 kids, had a girlfriend.
I kicked him out of the house and we were separated for a few months, and then we started a long road to R.
It really helped that we had a great marriage counselor, who we still see. Also, I will always be grateful for this site.
I have forgiven him. His A hardly ever comes to mind--- I am at "meh" when I think about it.
Everything is pretty good now.
Our 4 kids are almost launched and we are enjoying our first grandbaby together.
Just wanted to report, from further down this road, that you are going to be OK.
Whether you R or D, you will be happy again.

Thank you for this positive story! I am 5 years out from Dday and have had a few setbacks recently. I pray that someday I will get to where you are. Thank you for reminding me that it is possible!
