I finally saw them tonight for the very first time, as I’m sure many other people have. Very cool. H and I have just started to have conversations about going to Iceland and Norway in the last couple of weeks. This inspires me!
First time for anyone else here?
According to NOAA, you might be able to capture the aurora with your phone even if you can't see them with your naked eye!

Cloudy and rainy here in northern NJ last night. 
I've seen photos from friends who were able to capture some outstanding photos!

A friend of ours went to the North Sea to see the lights a few months ago, and she's still in bliss.

They were amazing here! Mid Ontario, Canada. We were out and about and coming home the public beach near our place was jam packed with cars, completely clogged like I've never seen. All for a good view of the Aurora Borealis. So many nice pics posted online today.

We got beautiful pinks and purples last night here in Northern California. And yes, my iphone pics were even better than in person.
Definitely worth staying up for!
