One day at a time…
One thing I have learned through all this is that an IC has a duty of care towards their client… not the marriage or the partner. At all times, the advice they provide is designed to best suit the client… even if said advice may go against the clients wishes…
My stage managed mess was deemed by my exWW IC to be the best for my exWW mental health and state at the time… she wanted to unburden herself so she could seek absolution… so I got it all in one big dump! I was blindsided, but her IC wasn’t thinking about my mental health…. Only that of her client…
I was screwed over by all three of them (WW, IC and AP) … it just took me much longer than it should for me to work that out…
