Brief update. This week had my first post treatment mammogram and despite needing to get extra views I am all clear with next one in one year!!!! So technically im cancer free!!!!
I am not tolerating the one super expensive med to prevent recurrence and the oncologist had me toke a 3 week holiday and restart at half dose next Sunday.
Working hard to lose some pounds and get back on track to hopefully prevent it from causing more issues.
Grief is a constant right now mourning the loss of lifelong friend to a horrific disease, and dealing with other life stressor. But overall taking a big sigh of relief that testing was normal.

Oh Tush, that is so good to hear!! Just did my annual mammo yesterday and all they wanted to ask me about is which of my female relatives have had BC, which is scary but I understand why they do it. I got emotional telling the technician what my loved ones had to go through - including dying young in 2 cases - so I'm very relieved and proud that you've made it through all of your ordeals!!
And also sorry that there is loss for you to grieve, still yet.
