I am so sorry to read this. I thankful he did and is doing the work. Nothing can prepare us for a tragedy but it helps to have a united front.

Is it wrong to be thankful my H grew and changed before this horrific event? Am I happy he cheated ? No. Do I think all things happen for a reason? Yes.

I said last week on your other thread, my W and I were so thankful we did the work before we knew the storm we were headed towards. I pray that y’all draw close and extend each other some grace and mercy. I’m so sorry to hear this and please update us.

Oh Groot I am so so sorry to hear this terrible news. Life really is a bitch sometimes. Your son is ever so lucky to have such a wonderful mum as you.

So sorry this horrible accident happened to your son. Life can be so darn cruel. My thoughts are with you, with son and with the family. And so sorry that--- as H said, there are now two life altering traumas to grapple with. The family (especially son) needs you - triaging EMDR to focus on immediate trauma around the accident is wise. H's remorse and ongoing work will also be so important to help navigate this tragedy. Hope you and H continue be a united team, and may the family find peace, healing and STRENGTH dear Groot.

For what it’s worth from an internet stranger, I am sorry you are going through this. I do really appreciate the sentiment of unfortunately being glad these did not overlap more. And being in a different place now than the very fragile place I was closer to DDay. I hope the strength you have found in yourself over this time can be your rock now. You are strong enough…

Groot, I’m not the praying kind anymore. I quit praying when it seemed like no one was listening. But for you, your son, and your son’s father, I will give it another go. I pray that you all discover a pool of strength that you may not have realized was inside of you.
